UK Insolvency Services will provide advice in reasonable contemplation of an IVA appointment and provides information on all solutions to allow clients to make an informed decision. Where an IVA is approved, UK Insolvency Services will look to administer the IVA where resources will permit. Where Guy Withey is unable to administer the IVA (where resource does not permit or an individual does not meet the criteria for an IVA) a referral will be made to our chosen partners who are FCA Authorised. In some cases where an alternative solution can be provided a fee may be paid to UK Insolvency Services.

Subject to eligibility and acceptance. Fees apply. Debt write off is available only for unsecured debts and is contingent on the successful completion of the IVA. If your IVA fails, any remaining debts will not be written off. Failure of an IVA could lead to bankruptcy, though this is uncommon, and alternative options may be available. Your ability to obtain credit will be impacted. Homeowners may be required to release equity from their property. If equity cannot be released but is available, creditors may request an additional 12 months of payments as compensation.
